After overcoming significant challenges beyond its control, Messiah for Muslims officially began production of its Arabic video series on Martin Luther’s Small Catechism on January 29, 2026. The project experienced an unexpected delay due to circumstances that required a complete restructuring of the production team and workflow. Despite these obstacles, the ministry remained committed to the project and successfully launched production with renewed vision and momentum.
Filmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle, Illinois, the series features Rev. Hesham Shehab presenting Luther’s foundational teachings in Arabic through an engaging conversational format designed specifically for Arabic-speaking audiences. By addressing common misconceptions and proclaiming Christ crucified and risen, the series seeks to introduce viewers to the Gospel and the teachings of the Lutheran faith in a format that has not previously been available in Arabic.
Messiah for Muslims extends its sincere gratitude to The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) for its generous financial support of this project through the National Development Grant. This investment has made it possible to develop a high-quality educational resource that will serve Arabic-speaking communities around the world for years to come.
We are also deeply thankful to Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle for graciously providing its studio facilities free of charge throughout the production of the series. Their generous partnership has been instrumental in allowing the project to move forward after its difficult beginning.

We pray that this Arabic video series will be a lasting resource that proclaims the Gospel, strengthens believers, and introduces many Arabic-speaking viewers to the saving message of Jesus Christ.
